Welcome to Apple Music Connect
Apple Music Connect is a web-based tool that allows you to easily manage the promotional and marketing activities for all of your artists in one, centralized location. Use Apple Music Connect to promote your artists’ content, pitch releases to our editorial teams, address media requests from the Apple Music team, and create custom marketing assets.
Explore all of the features available to you, use them to build excitement for your releases and artists, and more seamlessly work with Apple Music.
Accessing Apple Music Connect
Apple Music Connect is available to labels and distributors who deliver content directly to Apple Music. If you are an Admin of your company’s iTunes Connect account, use your Apple Account to sign in to the platform. You may have also received an email invitation with a link to register for Apple Music Connect. Click on the link in the email to sign up and get started.
Apple Music Pitch users were migrated to Apple Music Connect. Users who were accessing Pitch as a standalone tool are now assigned the Marketing Manager role in Apple Music Connect to access Pitch.
When you log in to your account, you’ll see two sections at the top of the page: Marketing and Account. These sections will help you manage the promotional and marketing activities for your artists, and ensure the right people on your team have access to the account.
Your ability to access each section will vary based on your profile permissions.
Marketing
The Marketing section is your default view when logging in to Apple Music Connect. This is where you can view all of the upcoming marketing and promotional activities for your content. You can also access additional marketing tools available to you in Apple Music Connect.
Artist Search
Use Artist Search at the top of the page to easily find any artist in your catalog. View their artist details page complete with their catalog of work, including current and upcoming songs, albums, and videos. Click any piece of content to create a promotional, sharable asset.
Artists with Upcoming Releases
See all of your artists with upcoming releases at a glance to easily identify content that needs priority marketing efforts to gain traction with listeners. View an artist page to access and customize Promote cards for pre-adds, and see their entire catalog of songs, albums, and videos.
Releasing this week
View a list of your content releasing this week. Easily see exactly what is being released, such as an album track list, and promote, pitch, or open the content in Apple Music.
Pitches
Let Apple Music know when a priority release is on the horizon with Apple Music Pitch. Create a new pitch, see a list of all of your upcoming pitches, and click on any pitch to view or edit details.
Media requests
If Apple Music has requested a press photo or publicity image to use for featuring, the media request for the artist and content will be visible here. View the request details and upload the required media all from one location.
Additional Tools
Console is a tool that lets you create more social assets. If your artist is recently featured in an Apple Music playlist for example, share the news with the world with an easy-to-use template.
Apple Marketing Tools help you generate links and badges to download music, embed players for social sharing, QR codes that link to your content, and more.
Account
The Account section is where you can manage your profile and user access. If you are an Admin, learn how to manage users and access in Apple Music Connect.
Update your account information and preferences at any time from the drop-down menu on the top right. If you have access to more than one label or distributor account, you can switch your view to the marketing and account details for that provider.
